Children’s Bill of Rights
A declaration of sacred birthrights—affirmed by the Children’s Liberation Corps and offered as a compass for true human development.
We are not the property of the State.
We are not the extensions of our parents.
We are sovereign beings becoming whole.
Article 1: The Right to Consciousness
Every child has the right to awaken to their own inner life.
To be taught how to observe thoughts, feelings, and actions
To explore questions of meaning, identity, and purpose
To learn the nature of attention and presence
Article 2: The Right to Safe and Sacred Space
Every child has the right to physical, emotional, and spiritual safety.
Free from violence, ridicule, manipulation, or exploitation
Environments that support growth and reflection
Spaces to say no—and to be heard
Article 3: The Right to Self-Directed Learning
Every child has the right to follow curiosity and explore knowledge beyond State or parental agendas.
To learn at their own rhythm
To choose mentors, paths, and passions
To participate in shaping their own education
Article 4: The Right to Emotional Expression
Every child has the right to feel and express the full spectrum of human emotion.
Without shame, punishment, or repression
With guidance in developing emotional literacy and empathy
In cultures that value vulnerability as strength
Article 5: The Right to Participate in Decisions
Every child has the right to be consulted on matters that affect their lives.
To join in councils, assemblies, or dialogues
To challenge rules that feel unjust
To help co-create community values and rituals
Article 6: The Right to Be Seen as a Soul
Every child has the right to be regarded as more than a future worker, consumer, or citizen.
To be honored as a unique being with a cosmic purpose
To be offered initiations, stories, and practices that nourish the spirit
To be loved not for performance, but for essence
Article 7: The Right to a Tribe of Care
Every child has the right to a circle of adults committed to conscious stewardship, not ownership.
To be guided, not dominated
To receive mentorship without coercion
To know they belong to something ancient and alive
Article 8: The Right to Joy, Play, and Stillness
Every child has the right to experiences of wonder, laughter, silence, and mystery.
To move freely in nature
To play without evaluation
To rest without guilt
Article 9: The Right to Say “No”
Every child has the right to reject systems, teachings, or relationships that feel abusive or misaligned.
To be taught discernment and boundaries
To opt out of indoctrination or obedience training
To be supported in developing inner authority
Article 10: The Right to Prepare for Liberation
Every child has the right to be prepared—not just for survival—but for freedom.
To learn tools for critical thinking, self-observation, and collaboration
To understand systems of oppression and how to transcend them
To be initiated into adulthood with clarity and dignity
We, the youth of this Earth, are not raw material for systems.
We are living temples of becoming.
We claim these rights not to be controlled, but to grow.
Not to be indoctrinated, but to awaken.
Not to be protected from life—but to become alive.
